Believe CPS ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our business clients ("Clients") and their end-customers ("Guests"). This Privacy Policy applies to the Believe CPS website, the Complete Point of Sale software, and the proprietary MITER System framework (Management, Inventory, Table, and Employee Routing).

2. Information We Collect

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act primarily as a Data Processor for our Clients. The types of personal information collected include:

  • Business Contact Information: Names, emails, and phone numbers collected via our demo request forms.
  • MITER System Operational Data: Restaurant analytics, employee scheduling data, and Point of Sale transaction routing metrics.
  • Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, and hardware identifiers for POS terminals accessing the MITER Core.

3. How We Use the Information

We use the collected information exclusively to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the MITER System.
  • Route kitchen orders and calculate predictive inventory using our algorithms.
  • Communicate regarding technical support under your applicable Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Ensure PCI compliance and fraud prevention across all Believe CPS hardware.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Believe CPS does not sell personal information. We only share data with authorized third-party infrastructure providers necessary to host the cloud elements of the MITER System, or as required by United States federal law.

5. Your Rights (CCPA/GDPR Compliance)

Subject to local law, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (the "Right to be Forgotten").
  • Opt-out of any marketing communications.

6. Security

We implement enterprise-grade encryption for data in transit and at rest. The MITER System is regularly audited to ensure strict adherence to PCI-DSS standards for all Complete Point of Sale payment routing.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated via the MITER Core admin dashboard or via email to the primary technical contact on file.
