Shipping & Returns Policy

1. Overview

Believe CPS provides proprietary Complete Point of Sale terminal hardware (e.g., the MITER Terminal Pro, MITER Mobile Waiter, Bump Bars, and Kitchen Displays) tailored explicitly for the MITER System software infrastructure. This document outlines the shipping terms for hardware and the cancellation/return policies for both hardware and SaaS modules.

2. Hardware Shipping Policy

All hardware orders are processed at our Chicago-area fulfillment center following a signed Enterprise Plan or individual module purchase agreement.

  • Processing Time: Standard orders are configured, imaged with the MITER Core OS, and shipped within 3-5 business days. Custom Enterprise deployments may require additional lead time as specified in your contract.
  • Carriers: We ship exclusively via tracked, insured B2B logistics carriers within the continental United States. We do not ship to P.O. boxes.
  • Shipping Fees: Expedited shipping is available at checkout or contract execution. Standard ground shipping is included free of charge for Enterprise Plan subscribers with 5 or more locations.
  • Tracking: Upon dispatch, a tracking manifest will be emailed to your designated technical contact.

3. Hardware Return & RMA Procedure

Believe CPS hardware is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery under our standard hardware warranty.

If you encounter a hardware failure (e.g., dead pixels on a KDS, or unresponsive touchscreen on a terminal) that cannot be resolved remotely by our SLA support team, you may request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

  1. Contact support@believe-cps.com with the serial number and a visual description of the issue.
  2. If approved, you will receive a prepaid shipping label and an RMA number.
  3. Once we receive and verify the defective hardware, a replacement unit pre-configured to your restaurant's MITER Table Routing and Inventory specs will be overnighted to your location.

Note: We do not accept returns for buyer's remorse on successfully deployed hardware. All sales become final 14 days after delivery.

4. SaaS Software Cancellation Policy

The MITER System software modules (e.g., Kitchen Display System routing logic, Management dashboard algorithms) are billed on a monthly, per-location basis.

  • You may cancel individual software module subscriptions at any time via your Believe CPS administrative dashboard.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.
  • Upon termination of your MITER Core subscription, local data backups will be provided via secure download, and your local server configuration will be remotely sanitized to protect your historical restaurant data.
